INSTRUMENTATION ACCESS AND TRAINING
Complete the Instrumentation Lab Usage Request Form to request training, sample analysis, or access to any instrument. If you are a UNT student, your faculty advisor must email their approval to the lab supervisor. After a request has been made, a laboratory staff member will reach out to you within 3 business days.
To obtain independent access to any instrument, you must request training and be certified for independent usage of the instrumentation. Once training and certification is complete, access to the scheduling software will be permitted to obtain independent access.
At present, instrument time is offered on a first come first served basis. If a particular instrument comes under heavy use, it may become necessary to prioritize access. In this event, instructional laboratory classes will have priority over all others.
