The University of North Texas Department of Chemistry hosts the studio of Master Scientific Glassblower Roger Ramirez. While mass produced glassware is available, research scientists often still work closely with skilled glassblowers to create new and updated forms to suit their research needs. Roger works with research groups here at UNT as well as with researchers at other institutions to provide custom glassware for scientific applications.
