Chemical Kinetics; Computational Chemistry; Combustion & Atmospheric Chemistry
Dr. Marshall is Regents Professor of Chemistry. He joined UNT in 1988 and has published over 140 refereed papers.
Research
Fundamental details of bond formation and chemical kinetics are investigated using infrared and time-resolved laser spectroscopy combined with high-level ab initio computational chemistry. The results are combined to improve our understanding of atmospheric and combustion chemistry, and the properties of short-lived radicals and other transient species.
