Research interest on OLEDs with copper and gold compounds as the phosphorescent dopants which harvest the triplet excited states and thus theoretically realize 100 % internal quantum yield (IQY). The optimized device structures, and such copper and gold compounds with high PLQY and short lifetimes will fulfill the high-performance efficiency compared with that of some heavy metals-based phosphorescent compounds such as Pt and Ir series compounds.
