**CHEM 1980 is an experimental course designed to prepare students for CHEM 1410,
General Chemistry. This course delivers not only chemical principles, but also focuses on the application
of mathematical skills in solving chemistry problems. Students earning a B or higher in the course meet the prerequisites to take CHEM
1410.
