UNT Sweeps First and Second Place Awards

Chemistry PhD Candidates Darrell Mayberry (Richmond) and Christopher Ozigagu (Golden) swept the top two awards at the Dallas-Ft. Worth ACS Meeting-in-Minature this past weekend. Christopher Ozigagu placed first in Graduate Student Presentations with his research in corrosion science with Dr. Teresa Golden.

Darrell Mayberry, working with Dr. Michael Richmond, placed second in Graduate Student Presentations with his presentation "Synthesis and Resolution of Chiral Metal Clusters."

Both students will receive a financial scholarship and certificate as part of their award.
