At the Spring 2012 ACS National Meeting in San Diego, Cong Liu (Wilson) was one of five graduate students recognized with the CCG Excellence Award, given by the ACS Division of Computers in Chemistry for excellence in research.

Also, at the Local DFW Section ACS Meeting-in-Miniature held on April 21, 2012, Cong won first-place in the graduate division.
