UNT's Office of Research and Innovation launched a new award, and last week, recognized
four innovators with the inaugural Innovator Award, including Chemistry research faculty member Dr. Guido Verbeck. The award seeks
to recognize faculty for finding creative solutions to today's most pressing issues.
"Innovation comes in many forms, and these individuals have more than proven that
they are capable of innovating big ideas that can make the world a better place, "
says UNT President Neal Smatresk.
