Rolling Admissions
There is no formal application deadline. However, decisions regarding teaching assistantships for Fall are usually made beginning in December and end around mid-February. Deadlines for fellowships typically are earlier. It is, therefore, important that applicants submit all of their application materials before the beginning of December, as incomplete applications will not be considered.
Occasionally, there are a few teaching assistantship positions for students who wish to begin the graduate program in the Spring semester. This decision is based heavily upon the numbers of students that are in the Fall class of new students. There is no guarantee that there will be openings for Spring, and, thus, students are strongly encouraged to notify us by early summer if a Spring start is desired.
Please feel free to contact us via e-mail at: chem@unt.edu or by phone at (940) 565-3554 with any questions.
