Gas Adsorption

TGA-HP50 "The Yaghi": high pressure gravimetric adsorption instrument. It is capable of measuring isotherms in a broad range of temperatures and pressures as high as 60 bar. The instrument also has a vapor pressure adsorption option for measuring isotherms of liquids such as toluene and hexanes.

Micromeritics ASAP 2020: low pressure volumetric adsorption analyzer. It is capable of measuring adsorption and pore size measurements from high vacuum to one atmosphere, and typically operates in temperature ranges from 77K to 313K. The instrument is also equipped with a chemisorption analysis option with capabilities to measure active metal areas for catalysis and chemisorption on a sample, among other experiments.
