UNT Chemistry Offering Remote Courses for Summer 5W1, 8W1, and 5W2

The UNT Chemistry Department will be offering a full menu of undergraduate chemistry course in the summer terms. To best accommodate students' current situations and to maintain safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, all summer courses will be conducted through remote instruction. Our faculty are working hard to make sure that their educational experience will be as good, if not better, than it would be for in-person, on-campus classes.

Lab courses will use a combination of virtual lab simulations, recorded experiments with data analysis/interpretation activities, and (for General Chemistry I and II) safe at-home experiments. Our goal is for students to gain a full understanding of experimental techniques and the scientific methods, even as they are working at home.

Course offerings are listed below. If you have questions about the mode of instruction, or about course prereqs and requirements, please contact Heather.Vidaurri@unt.edu.
