THREE UNT CHEMISTRY GRADUATE STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARDS AT THE ACS-DFW MEETING-IN-MINIATURE

The UNT Chemistry Department hosted the 52nd Annual ACS-DFW Meeting-in-Miniature on Saturday, April 27, 2019, in the Chemistry and Environmental Sciences Buildings. The successful event drew almost 200 attendees and 100 presenters to the campus.

The Meeting-in-Miniature is an annual conference, sponsored by the ACS-DFW Local Section, where graduate and undergraduate students from across the section are able to present their research in a smaller venue than a national or regional conference.

This year, we are pleased to announce that 3 of our graduate students won awards:
George Rawling--1st Place in CHEM 109
Matt Tiemann--2nd Place in CHEM 106
Whitney Webre--3rd Place in ENV 110

Congratulations, George, Matt and Whitney!
