Congratulations to Mr. Tejas Alankar, a TAMS student in the Omary/Marpu group, for winning the DFW ACS Outstanding Chemistry Student Award for UNT, which includes a $200 scholarship. Mr. Alankar works on projects to develop novel optical sensors for water purification; ongoing work targets CO2 detection in breath.
