Congratulations Heather Vidaurri for receiving the 2021 UNT Community Award! This award comes directly from President Neal Smatresk and recognizes those who provide outstanding service that enriches the UNT experience for our campus community.

According to the Presidential Awards website, the President's Special Recognition Award "honors students, faculty or staff members for outstanding service that has enriched the UNT experience for the UNT community. This outstanding service is characterized by consistent and meaningful involvement in the campus community with servant-leadership."

Heather was nominated and selected for this award because of her tireless dedication to improving the UNT experience for the many students, staff, and faculty who interact with her on a daily basis.

This award will be presented to Heather during the annual Staff Appreciation Awards Ceremony held virtually on March 2.
