Chemistry research professor Dr. Andres Cisneros recently received the 2019 UNT Early Career Award for Research and Creativity from
the Office of Research and Innovation. Accord to the Faculty Success website, the
"award is given to a full-time University faculty member within their first 10 years
in a full-time appointment whose research accomplishments or creative endeavors have
been outstanding and whose scholarly/creative products are considered to have had
high impact in the faculty member's discipline and/or on society."
Chemistry research professor Dr. Francis D'Souza recently received the Toulouse Scholar Award from the Toulouse Graduate School.
According to the Faculty Success website, the award "is designed to recognize the
excellent teaching and scholarly/creative achievements of members of the University
of North Texas faculty and thereby honor the distinguished contributions of Robert
B. Toulouse to the university."
Drs. Cisneros & D'Souza were both honored at the Salute to Faculty Excellence Dinner
and Award Ceremony in April 2019.
