Dr. Molly Atkinson has been awarded a Leadership Development Award by the Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) of the American Chemical Society (ACS).  This award will support Dr. Atkinson’s participation in the YCC Leadership Development Workshop, to be held from Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2, 2025 in conjunction with the 2025 ACS Leadership Institute in Houston, Texas.  According to ACS, “This YCC program recognizes emerging leaders in the profession and helps them prepare for leadership opportunities at volunteer organizations, such as ACS, and in their professional careers.”  Congratulations, Dr. Atkinson!

Dr. Molly Atkinson is an Assistant Professor in the UNT Chemistry Department.  She leads a research group focused on Chemistry Education Research and is highly active in the Chemistry Education Research Community.
