Congratulations to Katherine Smart, Ph.D. candidate working with Dr. Teresa Golden,
for receiving a grant from the Southwestern Association of Toxicologist to help further
                  her research.

Ms. Smart's research centers on finding new stationary phases for use in gas chromatography
to separate fentanyl isomers. Data from these phases will be used for computational
studies to determine fentanyl's distribution within various tissues. This information
is needed to create the first guide that links likelihood of an exposure to effective
                  site and physiological response.
