Congratulations to Casey Thurber, Ph.D. student with Dr. Golden, for winning the 2015
National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Outstanding Student Award.
The NACE Foundation Outstanding Student Award was created to recognize exceptional
service to NACE International / NACE Foundation, a NACE student chapter, or the ACC
Student Sub-committee. To be considered exceptional, the student's participation must
be recognized as significant to the growth of NACE or positively influencing the education
of current or future students in the fields of corrosion science and engineering.
The recipient of the Outstanding Student Award receives an honorarium and travel stipend,
and receives formal recognition at the NACE Foundation's Tuesday evening event at
the annual NACE conference.
