Two dimensional (2D) conjugated organic materials

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are crystals with porous nanostructures that have great potentials in applications including gas separation/storage and catalysis. A COF consists of joints (building blocks) and linkers. Our research focuses in this area are to develop conjugated COFs through developing new building blocks based on π-extended porphyrins and new linking reactions utilizing new reactions developed in our group.
