Charles Dubois Coryell

1912-1971

 

  He was a professor of chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With his assistants Marinsky and Glendenin he discovered promethium while at the Clinton Laboratories, soon to become the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
