"Loos koboltgruvor" = "Loos cobalt mine." [now the museum]
"Ryggskog" = "back forest."
"Los hembygsgård" = "Los home region house" [historical site where historical traditions are maintained].
"Los k:a [kyrka]" = "Los church."
"Los brynsåg" = "Los whetstone sawmill" [a site for making and sharpening knives and axes].
"Sophiensdal glasbruk" = "Sophie glass works" where a local glassworks was active, producing cobalt blue glass ornaments 1763-1771; today nothing remains.

The 1 mil scale refers to the "mil," the Swedish "mile," 6.64 statue statute miles, introduced in 1699 as the supposed distance between inns while traveling.
