Previous | Home | NextThis is the Hotel de la Monnaie, the Mint Building. The Mint had been located on the Rue de la Monnaie, 400 meters northeast on the Right Bank, since the 14th century. The buildings became dilapidated and reconstruction took place in the Hotel de Conti. The new Hotel de la Monnaie was built during the period 1771-1776.
