Chemistry PhD Candidate to receive NACE Award

Christopher Ozigagu, Chemistry Ph.D. candidate working with Dr. Teresa Golden, was awarded the NACE International Graduate Book Award. This competitive award attracts applicants world-wide and is a high honor in the field of corrosion science.

Christopher was presented the award at CORROSION 2018, the organization's national conference held in Phoenix, AZ, on April 17th, 2018.

Christopher also received the NACE North Texas Section 2018 Scholarship Award, one of only two recipients of this scholarship.

NACE International is an organization committed to equipping society to protect people, assets, and the environment from the adverse effects of corrosion.
