UNT Chemistry student named Chemistry Student of the Year 2016

UNT Chemistry PhD graduate, Dr. Aaron Ruch (Slaughter), was named the ACS DFW section Chemistry Student of the Year for 2016. The award is a recognition of Aaron's academic acheivement in Chemistry, and was presetned by Dr. Steven Twaddle, chair of the DFW ACS chapter, at the April 23rd, 2016, at the Annual Meeting in Miniature. Aaron graduated with his PhD in Chemistry from UNT on Friday, May 13th, 2016, and will go on to accept a post-doc position at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
