Congratulations to Bin Dong, Ph.D. student with Dr. Kelber, for winning the 2015 Society of Vacuum Coater Foundation Scholarship (SVC). In addition to receive the scholarship, Bin is invited to attend the SVC Technical Conference in Santa Clara, CA, and to present a paper about her work and to learn more about SVC.

The SVC scholarship recognizes and supports students who have an interest in contributing to the field of vacuum coating technology and whose research related to novel materials development for various applications. The recipient are selected based on their outstanding achievements in research and demonstrated willingness to contribute to vacuum coating technology. The award committee composed of renowned vacuum coating technology experts from the industry and academia.
